Core Responsibilities in Driver Recruitment

• Identify and engage potential CDL driver candidates through various recruitment channels.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to offer letter issuance.
• Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified CDL drivers for current and future needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific driver requirements and refine recruiting strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of recruiting activities, candidate interactions, and hiring outcomes.
• Stay informed on industry trends to effectively compete for top CDL driving talent.

Essential Qualifications for a Successful Driver Recruiter

• A minimum of 6 Months ' experience in recruitment, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with candidates and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as they apply to CDL drivers.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
